You look alittle too young to be an apostate?

Thats my beautiful daughter in her easter dress, a pic about 3 years old. But isn't she beautiful? A little background: I was born in, df'd at 18, mom still is; younger brother who is 22 y/o. My mom just wont give up. About 2 years ago she found this site, but she can't see member stuff without setting up an account *Devilish grin*

Melba, Do you know Larry Simpson from CT? I believe that he is still the PO somewhere in CT.

Ok, So I'm not really from CT, but it sounded like a good blue state to be from......I actually sandwiched my childhood in two different places. Born and raised until 13 years of age in Pontiac MI, then the fam moved back to where my mom and dad grew up which is.....ulp...West Virginia. I mostly did that to throw off any "searchers of apostateness" like my mother. I used her computer once and checked my messages on her computer while she was at work and I was visiting....

Guess what, like a tried and true JW, she checked my history (which I had cleared on IE) but of course she has the super-secret spyware needed to check my every cybermove on her computer, and she bitched me out. How dare I bring apostate sites to her poor wittle computer...didn't I know that was Satan's work? Blah blah blah....anyway that led on to one of many shunning times and my visit ended with a "Jesus, mother, I won't ever use your computer again, I swear!"

    What was I saying again?

Hello, Melba! Hello Everyone! I just signed up so I'm new. I'm here to learn and contribute. I'm not a JW but some family are including my father so of course I get 'encouraged' to 'enlist'. I studied with them for a bit during my childhood but as I got older, I saw the inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and non-Biblical nature of their doctrine. Thanks to the inter-web ( ) and Ray Franz's "Crisis of Conscience" I've learned some very eye-opening things which confirmed and validated my own thoughts about this organization. Glad I never joined.

I remember you. Sounds like you need to set your foot down with dear old mum and let her know that you're your own person.
