    Formerly known as the 'aposta-cruise' I prefer to merely call it a cruise with like minded friends (real friends not that JW conditional BS ;-)

    Some info about sailing with carnival

    You are allowed to bring a case of water/soda per person

    each adult can bring 1 bottle of wine

    Ill add more as I think of them but those are the main ones.

    wha happened, I thought of that too; I have never really trusted cruises. I was on one ship during a 50-year storm...never again.

    My wife and I go every year. She works for a cruise line so it's a very inexpensive vacation. Ironically, the only bummer is that it is a very high end cruise line. One of two 6 star cruise lines in the world, so I can't relate to the other guests because I'm not in a financial position to spend 6 figures on a world cruise. But we make our fun hanging out with the employees. I don't worry much on that ship as it has the largest amount of square footage per passenger, so lot's of employees, way more lifeboats than they need. I've been through some really rocking trips as the ship is smaller than most, holding a max of 900 guests.

    I'll eventually try other cruise lines but they certainly won't be a discount line after that whole fiasco

    I have always like the idea of cruises, it just took awhile to get my wife on board...hey play on words.

    Sounds good, hope your cruise goes well. If the water is calm, then you should have a fun time. If the water is rough, make sure to bring sea sickness medication.

    another cool thing about carnival you can order a main course pasta dish as an appetizer
