Hi there Badboy. I have made a few...im assuming your talking prank phone calls?
Go back a few years to when i was about 13. Me and my buddy went on a tear of prank phone calls to amuse ourselves. We chose a family in our hall that we thought my fall for it and had some fun with it. The sister who answered was about 50 at the time, and thinking back to it still makes me laugh...
We called and it was my turn to take this one. Putting on the deepest voice i could at the time, it went something like this.
Ring Ring ring....
Her: " Hello? "
Me: : "Good afternoon maam, this is (insert name here) your local telephone company calling"
Her : " Yes? "
Me : " Maam, we are calling to let you know that locally, we are doing some work on your telephone lines. It is important to let you know, that in the event that your phone rings over the next hour or so, you should at all costs avoid answering it as our technicans run the risk of electrocution while exposed to working on the lines."
Her : " Why yes, of course, thank you for calling."
Me : "thank you maam and have a great day."
So that was it, all set up. Now all we had to do was wait a few minutes. We waited and called back, letting it ring and ring. No answer. We carried on for I don't know how long, but to no avail. FINALLY, after a LOT of calling, and numerous rings over the span of about 20 minutes...
Her : "HELLO?"
Me : "ouch ouch ouch ahhhhhhh!"
To this day I wonder why she never unplugged her phone from the wall...but boy did we have a good laugh at the time! We tried to call back for quite a while after that too, only to get busy signals. Made us laugh even harder thinking she must have called the telephone company. We never did get nailed for that one...lol

Yes, many times. Me and a now ex-friend used to do it a lot and I have them all recorded on cassettes. Haven't listened to them in years, mainly because listening to his voice now puts me in a bad mood. Perhaps in 10 or 20 years I'll be able to listen to them again.

Me: Hi, I was wondering if you have cotton balls?
Her: Hold on, let me check.
Me: [Snicker... ]
[waited a minute while she checked to see if she had cotton balls]
Her: Hello, yes, I've got cotton balls
Me: [Snicker... ] Well, [Snicker...] do they tickle when you walk? HAHAHAHAHA

Sometimes I like to answer the phone: "Bob's butcher shop-you can't beat my meat!"

It's still fun to call people who have ridiculous stuff for sale in the paper and yank their chain a little.

YES, Often,
our telephone number is very similar to a local Butcher's Shop, at first I tried to explain, but the people who misdial are so sure thay have got it right. So.......
I now take their orders and make suggestions as to how they should cook the products. Pity, of course they don't ever get the orders. The calls have reduced since doing this.
