Thanks very much Nathan Natas .
That was the full list I wanted to put up but I was too lazy and inefficient to do. Thanks also to FatFreek for his help.
The 'declining' numbers of memorial partakers was one of the first things that started to trouble me that all was not well in JW land.
Like a lot of others I couldn't help but notice that the number never seemed to be going down. Even though it was supposed to be. ( Not any more of course)
I started looking back on the CD rom and then my father-in-law's old yearbooks at gathering all the numbers.
One Sunday when we were studying the Jan 1st Watchtower with the stats in ( the only WT I ever really was interested in) the WT study conductor said words to the effect that
''of course every year it goes down, doesn't it brothers? Does anyone know what it was last year?''
I so missed my chance as I was struggling inside not to put my hand up, bearing in mind that I hadn't answered in maybe 10 years, and say, as I got the sheet of paper I kept in my meeting jacket with the full list going back to 1935,
''Actually brother it is 75 more than in 1988 which was 14 years ago''
I really wish I had had the courage at the time to say it.
The fact that they have, as far as I am aware, removed the partakers number out of the WT means that will never have a chance to be discussed in the meeting again.
With reference the percentage of partakers that were US based it doesn't help in the notion that God is impartial does it. I believe the USA makes up 5% of the world population but 40-45% of the anointed.
Thanks
