JW takes it up the keester

I was able to find another group of JW's doing the big tract this morning. I found it hard to get the 50'ish something lady to stop and talk to me, she was in such a hurry to get her 50 tracts done for the day. No bookbag, no Bible- just a vinyl folder with tracts. She looked like she was out campaigning for the election next week. Anyway, I tried to get her to tell me who was the true religion. All she would say is "those who are doing God's will" and " those who are preaching the good news of the Kingdom". I think she was afraid of making me angry. When she mentioned churches condoning sexual immorality I jumped.

"What about the Kingdom Hall hiding pedophiles from the police?", I asked.

    "couldn't happen", she said

I then told her about the lawsuit in California opening the secret Kingdom Hall pedophile database. "Rather than turn these pedophiles into the police, the Elders have been protecting them.", I told her. She still thought it was just an attack on God's people, so I gave her the silentlambs website address. She started to get into her car to write it down.

"What are you going to do , if you find out I'm right? Won't that make Jehovah's Witnesses one of those false religions your tract is warning us about?", I told her.

    "I don't know", she said.

'I'll tell you what you are going to do. You'll take it up the keester and won't do anything", I told her

She paused and looked at me" You're right" , she sighed.

I also sent my tract and the silentlambs news release to my newspaper today. I hope they do a story about it , like I asked.

    Hi Moshe!

You've been a very busy ex JW today!! Good points you brought out to her. Hope she considers all of it.

From her response, it seems like she already has doubts.

Wow, amazing, what you did I mean. Sounds like you planted a huge seed. Who knows how long it will take for it to grow, but I have a feeling that someday it will.

Kudos to ya, Moshe! That's a remarkable experience! It was probably somewhat satisfying, too, eh?

    You did good!

This lady told me she had been a JW since 1978. She, like every JW I have asked, denied the 1975 time of the end message. But I believe she had seen enough to realize that this was not the first urgent "your house is on fire", message she had been required to deliver. I asked how long the Watchtower Org. had been around. She wasn't sure, but agreed it could have been 100 years. I also reminded her that everyone who preached the original Watchtower messgage has been dead a long time.

Normally JW's are ready to talk, but she and her partner seemed nervous and anxious to keep moving. I don't think they are enjoying this tract campaign at all. I normally don't give JW's the time of day, but this Silentlambs thing has got me upset, that and the blood transfusion ban are hurting helpless children. Let's all try and stop this evil from continuing.

moshe; it's all in the style of anti witnessing. that is very effective. they know they are in very deep shit. once you ask a sharp question. right away they know they are in over their head. i like to play car and mouse. till i pounce, but they are not prepared. for any real conversations. and that were i let them know. your a jw for 35 years and you have no idea what they really teach. you should be ashamed of your self. etc. it's like talking to a recording machine . and i tell them this. you have about 4 answers. they your circuits fizzle .. john

    She didn't scream?

I guess we all know what that means...

It is a wonder she did not up her hands over her ears and run off like my mom did one time I was telling her about Paster Russells misgivens.

That's a pretty odd response. I think the cognitive dissonance is working on her now.

Good job being dogged with her, btw!
