They arrested the suspect, who had fled to a hotel in Rochester, MN. This is the city about 80 miles southeast of Minneapolis where JW's have their conventions, but this weekend they don't have one there.

Police in Rochester this morning apprehended a suspect wanted in connection with an ambush-style slaying Thursday night in New Brighton.
Rochester Police found the suspect sleeping in a Radisson Hotel room and arrested him around 5:15 a.m. without incident, said John Ellickson, Deputy Director of Public Safety for the New Brighton Police Department.
Police found a handgun in the room where they arrested the suspect, a 21-year-old man. A second gun was found in the car, which police spotted in the hotel's parking lot, Ellickson said.
The suspect in the city's first homicide in about three years is being transported back to the Ramsey County Jail, Ellickson said.
The 48-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter had arrived at their townhouse at Pike Lake Manor at 3:30 p.m. Thursday when they were confronted by the 21-year-old suspect in the parking lot next to the fourplex, said John Ellickson, deputy director for the New Brighton police. The suspect shot the mother and shot at the daughter but missed, he said.
On Wednesday night, the mother and daughter had notified New Brighton police that they were concerned that the suspect might be a threat, Ellickson said.
"He apparently was upset after he was informed that she [the daughter] was not interested in a relationship with him," Ellickson said.
Police said the victim, whom they have not identified, was shot in the abdomen. She was rushed to Unity Hospital in Fridley, where she died at 7:30 p.m. police said. The Anoka County medical examiner will perform an autopsy today.
Late Thursday, police were searching for the suspect, described as a white male, 5 feet 9 and about 140 pounds, who was reportedly driving a silver 2005 Toyota Corolla with Minnesota license plate number XTX 016.
Screaming, then silence
Huldrich Graf was in his second-floor apartment at the complex across the street when he heard three loud bangs, followed by the screams of children.
"I didn't know what was going on," he said. "I looked out the window and didn't see anything, so I thought it was firecrackers."
Graf said there was no other indication of what had happened until he heard sirens.
"Just screaming, and a dead silence after that," he said.
Seeking shell casings and other evidence, investigators with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension combed a large grassy area surrounding the cluster of brick townhouses in the 1400 block of 21st Avenue NW. Several blocks of the neighborhood remained cordoned off late Thursday with police tape, including each of the buildings at Pike Lake Manor. Residents peered from the picture windows of their living rooms.
Detectives questioned the victim's daughter and several witnesses.
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Roseville, Mounds View and Fridley police departments, were assisting with the search.
Public Safety Director Bob Jacobson said the woman's death was the city's first homicide in about two years.
He said that the victims were targeted, and that while it was unlikely the suspect would go on a shooting spree, he should be considered dangerous.
"We're very anxious to find him and make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else," Jacobson said. "Anyone with a handgun that has shot and killed one person and shot at another is obviously someone dangerous, and we want to bring this to a close."
