A few weeks ago I broke a pair of glasses. I was out of contacts.

Soooo........I had to go to the eye doctor and get an exam.

I needed torque contact lenses and he suggested progressive eye glasses.........like bifocals but they change from top to bottom.

I still cant see through these dang things.....does anyone have them???

and I swear I am really self conscious about them, and since you all dont know me.......you can give your opinion HONEST ONE. You know people will say nice stuff to your face but you know they are thinking.........She looks like a freaking dork........and I already had one girl tell me they look like glasses from Medicaid. and they were $400.

My other glasses were those no frame ones ..sorta .....so it is such a shock.

so what do you think.........yeah or nay........I think i can take them back, but i am not sure.

edited to add: they look like all they need is a fake plastic nose attached to them.....but then after I got to looking at my nose....it looks like one of those big fake plastic noses!!!!

glasses or no glasses you're still beautiful purps. I have glasses too but I don't wear them, though I should, as people are always commenting on them.

I think the no frame ones would suit you better. I have them, and wouldn't go back to the old dark frame type.

You don't look like a dork at all, though after contac lenses and no frame glasses the new ones will take a while to get used to, I would think. It's quite surprising how self-conscious a change of style can make you feel.

If you are having a lot of trouble seeing through them, that would be a good reason to take them back though.
