Did it! I hope others will also take a moment to thank Dean Pritchard for his earlier story and encourage him to do a follow up story. Good idea!
UPDATE - the trial will conclude on November 10th and an article will likely appear on that date, according to the reporter, Dean Pritchard.
I just found found out that Gordon Watson is no small fish in Manitoba. He is listed as a WT contact in that city:

I'm betting it probably is the same person, but that opening page of that website hadn't been edited since March 2002. It might be reasonable to assume that then he was still considered a prominent contact, or the person who created the page hadn't a clue about his current and past activities.

It would appear this rather outdated group was trying to be non-denominational in their approach and probably have other false, outdated, or useless trivia about many of the religions in that area. Also, maybe they are telling the truth and people still hold this wacko in high regard. Either way it doesn't say much about how they deal with sexual predators.

Not yet - there was so much testimony to be heard, the trial did not conclude within the estimated time.
Because of the court's schedule being full, the trial will resume around December 7th, hopefully concluding by December 11th.
