Watchtower Maintains History WebSites on Different Domains

  In Germany the Watchtower has started to maintain different domains that link to each other. They are all

  about JW history in the "Third Reich" and in the former "German Democratic Republic" (GDR). They have

  also an English section.

  If you do a WHOIS all domains are registered to Johannes Wrobel who is Head of Watchtower History

  Archives at the German branch office in Selters/Ts.This is his own website:

  He is the second guy from the right next to Pellechia who is on the very right.

  There is another Website http://www.standhaft.org that is run by some JW (including elders) - privately.

  They have one "worldly" historian, Dr. Hubert Roser, in their team so the Watchtower has not dared to

  demand to close it down by the local elders but they boycott this Website by just ignoring it.

  sKally....To fix the photo, just do this:

  (1) Copy the following html:

  <IMG alt=alt hspace=0 src="http://home.t-online.de/home/johannes.wrobel/mainfoto1.jpg" align=baseline border=0 width=800>

  (2) Go back to your post and click "Edit", and then click the "HTML" button (the one next to "Design").

  (3) Erase the current link and paste what you copied from (1).

  (4) Click back to "Design" and click the "Submit Post" button.

  That way we can see the post okay and it doesn't make all the other posts in the thread have humongous margins.

  As I glanced at these sites (couldn't stay long, "sanitized" history makes me nauseous) a thought occured to me: JWs can't see the FOREST, they only see the TREES.
  
  i.e. SIX MILLION Jews are killed in an intentional campaign of genocide, and as that killing machine hacks away it catches a few ancillarly targets, including JWs among others.
  
  A few hundred JWs are killed -- sad and tragic, yes. But almost inconsequential when weighed on the balance of evils at the time; Six Million vs. a few hundred.
  
  Yet to the JWs, the prime historical lesson to be learned is what happened to themselves. I.E. JWs are taught to see Nazism as a threat against True Worship(tm) and Persecution(tm) of JWs........ conveniently trying to get a disproportionately large portion of the focus.
  
  Put another way: building up their "molehill" into a "mountain".
  
  Don't misunderstand me: the JW deaths were sad and tragic and should be remembered. But they should be remembered relative to the true atrocities of that war.

  Quotes, interesting thought! Also keep in mind that JW, according to the WT Society itself, could get out of the situation IF THEY WANTED, but THEY CHOSE NOT TO. The Jews, as far as I know, had no such an option. Observador.
