    Humanitarian Efforts
    Current News Releases

    Date Headline
08.29.03 In Monrovia, acts of kindness flourish despite rebel clashes
01.24.02 Goma relief supplies being sent
07.25.01 Thousands of volunteers flood Houston

For an outfit so ready to toot their own horn at the even the slightest sign of an increase in lit placement / hours spent / numbers numbers numbers / all signs of being god's only organization on earth today - This sure is a pathetic list of humanitarian efforts plucked right from their current website. Those acts of kindness, could they be any more vague? Could be anything from holding a door for someone to giving your seat up on the bus - but we all know that it is probably lit placement - egad.

Their list of "persecutions" allegedly by courts / governments / etc is about 10 times as long !!!!! With a humanitarian list like this no wonder France wants to take away their status. Its about time the rest of the world started collecting their DUE in taxes, with a thanks but no thanks.

Wonder if since they've dropped out of the DPI at the UN has anything to do with it? or is it just same old same old.....You will know them by their fruits.... now where have I heard that before?

They have provided thousands of people with good quality paper to use as birdcage liner, or for toilet tissue, who otherwise would not have been able to afford it.

Better be careful what you use that paper for....

There's no telling what that cheap ink will do to you

Using sophisticated Fourier analysis, one can determine that there's only one project per year. Somewhere, there's somthing they only qualify for if they do one project per year, I bet.

As an ex dub that works for Red Cross I can tell you that the JW's are not known for their humanitarian work. Interestingly their lack of willingness to subscribe to the geneva convention, it is non existent. They expect it to be applied to their followers when in captivity but will do nothing to ensure its enforced. Its workers from the red cross who look after JW's in captivity and make sure they are treated properly. Have you ever read an account of JW's visiting their own in captivity? Do brothers mention the kindness shown by fellow JW's during their captivity? Do they ever mention that the red cross ensures now that they are treated with dignity and fairness especially since the era of WW2 atrocities???????? Makes you think that this so called love that exists amongst believers is just a sham! You should hear and read of some of the accounts that red cross workers come across when out working with people. THe pityfull conditions they find people in.
