Three year old Polar bear Victor, was born in the Dutch Zoo of Rhenen.
A year ago he moved to the Amsterdam Zoo "Artis" to be a new companion for a female who lost her mate - in the hope that this would result in some cute polar bear baby's.

But no, the mother "to be" died also - so there was no need for Victor to stay any longer in "Artis", and he moved back home where he was enthusiastically welcomed by one of his former playmates.....

    CW,

Have you ever hunted Polar Bear?

    Its fun!

You cut a hole in the ice and sprinkle peas around the hole. Then you hide.

You wait for the Polar Bears to come out.

When the bear goes to take a pea, you kick him in the ice hole!

    I'll go hide now!

    Thunder, peas ?!?! NEVER. !!

I am very fond of them - although they are one of the most dangerous species of the earth.

I have visited Spitsbergen and the first danger sign I saw there was: Beware of the polar bears - valid for whole Spitsbergen. Averybody there who goes outside of the (small) village, have to take at least one heavy gun with him - and make sure that it is carried by someone who is able to shoot.

for there Christmas cards send to me.

some are very special - like Santa riding a cow (from Texas), or cute: a very sweet puppy, to mention just two ones.

Each day I am receiving 10 or 12 new ones - and first I am looking for the stamps: where they came from ? Since Christmas is still 5 days to go, I expect that I have to thanks quite a few people more,

At the moment I received cards from Australia, Canada, the US, Spain, Portugal, France, United Kingdom and ofcourse lots from my own country.
Its fun all those cards (pasted on the door and a window)

    regards
    Branda
