Update on my son's JC meeting

Thank you all for your kind words and concern. My wife tells me the meeting with the three wise-men went pretty good. Regrettably, no elders were decked during the meeting (yes I am quite disappointed too) and so an announcement will be made next week that he was reproved and found repentant. I would hope he should be able to handle this amount of embarrassment just fine, but we will see.

I only hope one day my son can just get off the WT merry-go-round even for a brief period of time, just long enough to see what a normal life outside the matrix is like. Perhaps this experience will help as I believe he will be loosing his privileges (whatever that means).

I hope that loss of so-called privilege will include a break from door knocking, quick-builds etc. If so, he may just get so see how nice it is to sleep in on weekends for a change. He is pretty bright, (and a tad lazy too) and so if they let him get off the treadmill and he catches his breath, he just may get to like that. I could see him simply backing off a bit and then starting to drift. Dad of course will be there to sow the seeds of doubt and to show him the true answers to any questions he may have. Eventually he might one day see the matrix for what it is, as so many of us already have.

Again thank you all for your support.

    Thanks for the update.

I'm glad your son was shown "mercy". (hehe) Like you said, maybe if things are done slowly you can reach your son. Its the heart you want to reach. Reason on love.

    too bad !

hope, you never know, at least you will be there for him if he does leave, good luck and hang in there.

I am curious, and it is none of our business on this board but, was the jc meeting over something that upset you as well, or could you of cared less.

I'm glad for your relief freeman...I didn't know he was meeting the Magi.

I was glad to hear it too, Freeman. Even though it wasn't the ideal outcome, it was less harmful than could have been.

Great to hear freeman [except for the no fist throwing part of course ]

Getting off of the treadmill and catching your breath may let him finally see the possible life that he can have if he so decides. Be a good spiritual head Dad sow those seeds on the 'good soil'.

    Winston.

I'm hoping for the best! Unfortunately, being reproved doesn't mean an exemption from service; I don't know whether he would still work on building projects or not, I guess that depends whether he's a local volunteer or an RBC worker.

While the shock treatment can free people from the WTS, it's a painful process. I hope that your son can find his freedom through a path that's comfortable for him.

I'm glad for your son. I hope that he will one day see the truth about the so called truth. Were you ever a dub? Is your wife still in?

    I've beeen free since 1986.

Phew --- that's over with, maybe he'll get a life and not want to lose it. Better yet maybe he'll get a girl friend and not want to lose her!
