ROTFL!!
Thanks elsewhere. I was really hoping to learn how to wrap presents neatly. I haven't done too many of them and well...I think I need a lesson or too. Thank goodness I don't have a cat, but my dog's paw is really working out well!

I've just about giving up searching for instructions on how to gift wrap a present... does anyone know of any web site that shows instructions and diagrams on how to do this?

My father, during the short period between marriages, came up with several ingenious solutions.
- Get the store to wrap it for you.
- There are places that will even seal the gift a tin can for you.
- The obvious - buy those big gift bags; one size fits all.
- By far his favorite - pick a gift that can't be wrapped. Every grandchild has received luggage at least one Christmas.
- I prefer the small white envelope.
Edited to add:
What are you doing to me? You activated my researcher gene, probably brought on by feminine sympathy. A defitinitive step by step gift wrap guide - complete with pictures - can be found here.
That's a wrap
Easy-to-follow instructions can have gifts all tied up

Brandon Haddock, a staff writer for The Augusta Chronicle, said he would rather unplug a toilet than wrap a present.
"I'd rather do anything than wrap a present," he said.
Mr. Haddock was the guinea pig for The Chronicle's step-by-step gift-wrap guide

I love wrapping presents!! Unfortunately, I'm at work and don't have time to post instructions, but anyone who'd like a lesson, feel free to send me an e-mail and I'll happy to write up the way I wrap gifts and send it to anyone who wants it.

Elsewhere,
Just do what I do!
Roll the gift it in tissue paper and toss it into a pretty gift bag, leaving some tissue poking out of the top. Thats it, piece of cake.
