The July 1-3 fest in Milwaukee is soon to arrive. In order to solidify the arrangements for the fest we would like to have people who are definitely coming to the fest PM either myself or Winston Smith. and this one will last 3 days, Je-Hoover willing with his Holy Spear-It I plan on posting an Adobe Acrobat flyer online with info RE: maps, transportation, places to eat, where we can meet complete with pics, addresses, and such. There are some cool places for breakfast, and some great clubs to hit after midnight when Summerfest closes. Now that I have said this in public, it will force me to get my tail in gear and plan this out

Ok, I apologize for not getting something up yet. I am just BURIED right now in my life with things to do.
After this weekend [when I move] I will be hopefully have time to get my computer set back up and put together a PDF flyer.
Basically what Bav and I are thinking of doing is:
Sat morning @9:30 breakfast at the Hi-Hat, a real kick ass place for breakfast on the fashionable East Side on Brady St.

They have a great outdoor eating area to people watch along Brady St. The food is wonderful.
After that I would like to take the group over to the MAM. It's Calatrava's first commission in the USA. You owe it to yourself to at least pop on over and spend 10-15 minutes to see this world renowned piece of architecture. Plus, it's only about 2 blocks from Summerfest:

After that, we'll hang in Summerfest all day, get there around noon then regroup @ 5:00 & 9:00.
Summerfest closes at midnight, then after that there are a few clubs we can hit on North Ave on the East Side, about 15-20 blocks north of Summerfest.
Sunday we'll meet a bit later for breakfast for those with hangovers, @ 10:30 @ Trocadero. It's the BEST place for brunch in Milwaukee. The terrace is wonderful, food is gourmet, you'll love it!

Then we'll mosey on over to Summerfest around noon, do the same meetup times again, then go out at midnight or earlier if we want. Bav is a karaoke king, so we'll hit the "Up & Under" on Brady for a Karaoke night:

Now, if people need rides from/to the airport, I will be happy to help out. I get out of work @4:30 [my last day of work. Yeah, I got ALOT on my plate right now!] , can get to the airport by 5:00 to pick anyone up. And take people back to the airport if needed.
The main thing Bav & I are focused on for the weekend is to be loosy goosy and hope that everyone can kick back, relax, and enjoy Milwaukee for the kick -ass city it is & our hospitality. Meet up times will be pretty lax, and no one is expected to meetup at anytime if they don't feel up to it. We just want to make sure that you have a good time and go home with a smile on your face and great memories, ...memories that stay within the Apostafest group. There's only one rule at an Apostafest, "What happens at the Apostafest stays at the Apostafest."

I can't make the fest on the 23rd, but I'm sure well have something happening again here in Milwaukee with all of the festivals and concerts

Yeah, I will be able to make the one at Cathy's on 7-23. It should be a lot of fun. I was bummed I couldn't make the one in Milwaukee though. I was looking forward to meeting Bav and Winston. We will definitely still get together sometime this summer and rip it up. I'll be seeing you on 7-23 Blondie.
