Last weekend the Midwest was privileged to host an Apostafest in Chicago. It was reported as an upbuilding gathering blessed by Jehover! The assembly attendees were encouraged as they took home kindred friendships, throbbing headaches, and unspeakable memories.
The local Overbeers for Milwaukee Circuit #1 are now pleased to announce the first annual Aposta-Summerfest, held this year in Milwaukee, WI.
Please reserve the following dates for this upbuilding event:
Friday, July 1 ? Monday, July 4th.
This Apostafest promises to be of Biblical proportions! We anticipate hosting many of the famed Wisconsinite and Chicagoland Apostafesters, along with others that expressed regret missing this past event.
FYI, Summerfest is an 11-day musical festival infused with beer, food and sparse clothing. Musical acts range from nationally signed superstar acts to local bands. It is held in downtown Milwaukee, hosted on beautiful Lake Michigan on the Summerfest grounds.
In the coming month, we will need to know the following two items:
- The head count of all friends that expect to attend
- The number of friends that will need a hotel room. The Overbeers intend on reserving a block of rooms for the friends as requested.
While most friends will not need such guidance, we feel that some loving reminders are nevertheless helpful for our dear brothers and sisters:
- Please be mindful to wear the appropriate attire. In the past we have heard reports of friends, especially our lovely sisters, wearing modest attire. Such dress can bring reproach on our good name as Apostates. Remember sisters; less is more, so when in doubt, leave it out!
- There have also been disturbing reports of sobriety at past Apostafests. Lovingly, we are reserving rooms in the vicinity so that no driving will be required and therefore, adult beverages can be indulged. A good test of sobriety would be to ask yourself: ?With my hands held out at my sides, could I walk a straight line without falling down?? If you can answer this question with a wholehearted ?Yes?, then you may want to setup a face to face meeting with our many beautiful bartenders that can be found located throughout the Summerfest grounds for further assistance.
