Ok so I know there are a few Fests arranged for Oregon, which is kinda close, but I wanted to give folks advance notice for the holidays.

Princess and Steve Egner invited me over to their part of the world, for Xmas, and there are soooo many people there that I'd like to see. They've agreed to throw a Fest on the 26th December. Are they way cool, or what ?!!

So, this is a shout out to anyone who fancies a Washington State post-Xmas Fest. Please sign in!
    (Can Washington cope, I wonder?)

Doubt if I'll be there.......but I sure can remember your fine violin playing. Hope you're bringing it along with you?

Actually, what's the weather like "up yonder" at the end of December. Southerners don't particularily like snow, unless they're skiing.

It seldom snows here until January or February and then only for a day and then it's gone. Our winters are generally wet and mild..............rain, gray days, and about 30-40 at the coldest.

Now watch this Winter be the worst on record.

    Waiting:
I understand that Rachel already has a fiddle, hot to go.
    Or was that... ... ?

Mulan:Looking forward to see BigRed and yourself again, too.

So, hopefully my plane won't be delayed by weather, huh?

The problem I see with this is that it's usually a difficult time to travel, as people are going to be trying to return home (26th is a Sunday) in order to work on Monday--sort of like a Labor Day weekend travel day. It won't be easy.

Is there another date available? Perhaps after the New Year?

Bebu:Sorry, I was invited for Xmas, and my flights have been booked.
It worked in well with British Holidays too.

I appreciate that in that neck of the woods it's likely to be easier for folks in Washington and Oregon.

I wouldn't count on that happening. This has to be at the convenience of Steve and Rachel and of course while Little Toe is in town.

There are lots of us ex JW's in the Seattle/Portland area to make a good party.

Little Toe: Probably no delays resulting from our weather................maybe from your connecting cities. Hope not. You just never know in this part of the country. We had a major storm in mid December about 13 years ago, but since then, it's been pretty tame in the Winter. We can have a cold spell, where it gets down in the teens (rarely) but very little snow.
