Ok guys, I know you don't know me too well, but I am semi-new to Seattle and what better way to celebrate a birthday than with a bunch of party-lovin' ex-j dubs?!?! Doodle V and Savage Buda are going to help me kick this off right. I hope Saturday, May 8 works for everyone. Anyway, let's get down to the nitty gritty....
WHAT: A PARTY! DUH! Ok, so it's a birthday party of sorts, but really it's just a reason to get together, eat too much food, drink too much....whatever, and hang out with awesome people! NO PRESENTS! But who doesn't love cash...no, no just kidding, don't bring cash; bring food, but we'll get to that later.
WHEN: Saturday, May 8th...Let's start this thing at 4. We'll fire up the rooftop bar-b-ques at about 4:30-5 ish and crack open the wine and beer (and smurf juice!). If you're hungry, come early. If you're not into the food and you just want to sip some cool drinks, come around 7 or 8, and if you REALLY wanna party, come around 11 or 12 cuz' with Doodle and Savage here you know we're hittin' the clubs!
WHERE: This will be a TRUE Seattle Apostafest, right in the heart of the beautiful city. As much as I like stalkers, I don't want to post my address on the open forum. All ya' gots to do is PM me if you want directions and I'll send you a nice little note with directions and a suggestion to map it out on map quest. If all else fails, I will be uploading the directions onto Doodle and Savage's web site, so I'll send you that link also. (Did I mention the roof deck with the panoramic view? I didn't?!?! Well if you're vasilating about coming, you should just come for the view!)
WHAT TO BRING: You're cute little faces, of course. But don't think you're getting off that easy! We're going to be grilling up some hambugers and some veggie burgers in the early evening, and there will be plenty of chips and dip and munchies...(ahem)...But if you have a special little dish or grandmas heavenly recipe that you would like to whip up, that'd be GREAT! If, again, you're not into the eats, by all means BRING DRINKS! We will have wine and beer (and yes, smurf juice) but if there's something else you fancy, by all means, bring it.
THE KIDDLES: Well, I love kids, I do. I don't got 'em, but I love 'em. If you want to party late, call the sitter. But they're more than welcome in our home. We have any game system you can think of and tvs in every room of the house for hours of mind-numbing entertainment. Besides, they make the cutest little coat-checkers. (You think I'm joking... :: insert evil laugh ::)
