The beer festival comes to Bury on the above date. Does anyone like beer, btw? Is this an opportunity for all apostates to descend on Bury to sample the best in ales and generally have a good time? There is live entertainment laid on, on the Saturday...(22nd November) Admission is £3 and thereafter you can sample for free!

You can even try the local delicacy.......black puddings....which apparently originated in Bury!

    LOL @ Ballistic

Sounds good ISP ! Hopefully we can round up a few of the 'A-Team' (A for Apostate ) and have a merry time.

(I'm gonna skip on the black puddings though ... I don't think I would fancy them even without the JW indoctrination)

I love beer festivals. Its on my weekend on, but I'll call into the detail office tommorow and see if I can get some leave. Whats the area like for finding somewhere to stay, cheap b&b's etc?
