Sparkplug - I rarely think to look at anyone's profile, but you made me think to do it.

Gosh, Rodney. I feel exactly the same about the matrix thing and the JWs; in fact, I wrote something about it somewhere, (maybe on this site or one of my blogs or something), not too long ago.

I simply cannot watch "The Matrix" without thinking about how dependent on their WBTS matrix the JWs are. It's truly disturbing.

It's okay to think a lot, though; even if your friends say you think too much. Those of us who were brought up as Witlesses have a lot of lost "thoughtlessness" to make up for, anyway!

It's good to think and analyze and question, cuz that's part of what brains have evolved for, esp. the human brain, right?

Feeling misunderstood is very common to people who come from high control groups. Not everyone can relate to it. I've found it's good to be with people who try to understand, even if they're imperfect about it, though. And it's definitely helpful to talk with those who've "been there & done that."
