Hey all you Aussies, Just wanted to let you know about the exjw meetup on 26th March 2006 for BBQ/picnic. For details see exjw.meetup.com/84/events/ Seems like there are a lot of exjws in Sydney. Love to meet you all. As you can see this is my first post. Been a lurker for a while. It was time to jump in. I have been DF for two years now. Was an elder and after much research and study realized the Bible was the word of men which made JW religion irelevant. Have lost most of my extended family as a result. All diehard witnesses. Life is so much better now and we have many close friends who also left JWs around the same time. We have all been branded as a big apostate group in our area. My wife and children have adjusted well since leaving although the emotional abuse by family is hard to take sometimes.I have read many similar experiences here and understand the need to support one another. Our meetup group has met a number of times and we always have a great time and have made some nice new friends. Would like to meet more and share experiences. One's you won't hear at the next convention. Cheers Fair Dinkim

hi heretic, did you specifically mean if any of those going to this weekends meet up have a copy of CoC? If you meant in general then yes I can say I do have a copy of CoC, as do many Aussies on this board. I bought my copy from amazon.com, but prior to that I hired it out from the local library. It's a hot item at the library though and you may need to order it in advance. hope that helps, frog x
