    An appeal court decision on the 16th June 2004, upholding an earlier decision to Ban the religious activities of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Moscow, has created International attention.

    Europe and America have both urged President Putin to overturn the courts decision and remove the ban. The Jehovah's Witnesses are accepted in almost every country in the world and are recognized as one of "the top ten religions ."
