If you believe that Paul was inspired then you can't believe the Watchtower follows Jehovah's way.
The apostle Paul wrote."...we are walking by faith, not by sight"
    2Co5:7

If Paul is correct, why would TRUE christians need "GODS VISUAL ORGANIZATION ON EARTH", the answer can only be, drum roll please....
because the Watchtower has NO FAITH!

Very good point. If the WTS had faith, they wouldn't feel the need to terrorize and control people.

Thanks for the perspective on that scripture.

They have no faith, only "knowledge".
They only believe what they can see.
They know what this earth looks like so paradise must be a perfect earth.
The reading & touching the mags are how they get in touch with holy spirit.
Things invisible, like soul, do not exist.
    unconditional love.

    Apostasy
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars ....men forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods don't eat blood?which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude;....1 Tim 4:1-5
4:3 - The unbiblical asceticism arose out of the mistaken belief that the material world was evil - a central belief of the Gnostic heresy

    Dearest Moman... peace to you!

There are SEVERAL scriptures and verses that prove the WTBTS to be false, dear one. My favorite(s)?

    1. What does the WTBTS refer to itself as? The "Truth" (i.e., "How long have you been "in the truth"?), yes? May I refer you to John 14:6, where in my Lord says of HIMSELF:

"I... am the Way, AND the Truth, AND the Life..."

    2. They consider and refer to the Bible as the word of God. Yet, what does John 1:14 and Revelation 19:13 tell us is that Word?

    3. They also consider the contents of the Bible as the "truth" that will "set you free". Yet, my Lord, who says that HE is the Truth, says also, at John 8:32, 36:

"You will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
Therefore... IF THE SON (the Truth) sets you free, you will
    actually BE free."

There are many, many others, dear Moman. But do not be surprised. Rather than "the truth", do you want to know who they REALLY are? I direct you, then, to the 23rd Chapter of Matthew.

    Again, I bid you peace.

    A slave of Christ,

One must also realized that Paul did not go meet with the so called governing body in Jerusalem, he went on his own and he often cro=iticize other "so called governing body members like Peter.

We all know what happens to those who have tried Paul approach.

    R.R.:
It seems to me that Paul did on occasion consult with the governing body
in Jerusalem. How do you explain Acts 15:2, 4 and 12?

    Good points...
I've always wondered about the Luke 23.43 one..'Truly I tell you today,You will be with me in paradise'

I was told when questioning this one, that the apostrophe was put in the wrong place by other translations, does anyone know if that is true?
That rather changes EVERYTHING dos'nt it?
'Truly I tell you, TODAY you will be with me in paradise'No mention there of hanging around in limbo for a couple of thousand years is there? It would have kind of killed the moment for the poor criminal, would'nt it?

Paul was imperfect. In the early part of the Gospels, and even later on, he made mistakes. He got overzealous with excommunicating, for example, and later admitted that he had to back down. The scripture in Acts on blood is a mistake, as well, because at that time they really did not appreciate how the WHOLE scope of Christianity is simple and the GB back then did not want and/or was unwilling to dispense with certain teachings.

"As we all well know, there are mistakes in the Bible."

That doesn't mean there weren't moments where he did have the holy spirit and applied true Christianity. However, it means that one should not take every Bible passage as infallible. They were men on a learning curve, just like the rest of us.

If one sticks strictly to the SIMPLE Gospel of Christ, and read less into the apostles' teachings, and of the Old Testament too, one should do pretty well, IMHO.
