The wt points to king david lying or otherwise decieving enemies w whom israel was at war as using theocratic war strategy. Lying to enemies with whom one is at war wasn't limited to israel. All nations did it. It is being done now, and has been done for eons. It's just another facet of war strategy.

However, lying to the eneny is no more theocratic than is running him through w a bayonet, disintegrating him w a nuclear bomb, or starving him to death. There is nothing theocratic about it, unless priests, kings and presidents are divinely mandated. The wt adoption of this tactic as policy places it at the same level as any govt on earth today. It has, a long time ago abandoned spirit as a supporting or guiding force.

Throwing a head fake in the key or throwing a change up or curve ball from the mound is deception. Probably why dubby kids aren't to play sports.

About these aspects of Deception as practised within Cults, Erica Heftmann says in "Dark side of the Moonies":

..."The recruiter may or may not be aware that He is being deceptive, deception is treated with such justification that it eventually becomes, not only allowed, not only recommended, but the moral obligation of the member. Outsiders have supposedly been controlled by the enemy and it is said to be for their own good to trick them...I never joined the cult, Consent requires two elements that I never had adequately...sufficient information and mental competence"...

    Regarding "sufficient information" she says:

..." I had no understanding of the group, or the consequences of continuing to associate with it. The knowledge of the true nature of the Moonies was meted out as my mental competency diminished, . Because I was systematically presented with with a segmented programme I was able to go along with each proposition as the information and competency factors were reversed."

Would anyone classify this as "Spiritual Warfare"?

We had been using the library for many-years prior to 1991, but in that year it became necessary to register as an NGO to have continued access

because the UN says there were no changes in 1991 and also says the UN that the Library-Card is not related to the status of NGO or any status, but the Watchtower says they had to register in order to keep using the library.

Spiritual Warfare? What do you think?
