Circuit Assembly 2006

I've got my Circuit Assembly coming next week... Which I'll have to attend. :(

I know that these are generally held around March/April, so I'm sure some posters must have been to the 2006 one? I remember reading a lot of reviews about the District Convention, and it was great to know what would be discussed before I went! Especially as my family thought I was really clever when I kept 'guessing' correctly, what was about to be said! Lol!

Mainly though it was nice to prepare myself for 3 days of indoctrination and help me to argue the points being said (in my mind) so I could keep reminding myself that this is not the Truth! I'm fighting off 20 years of indoctrination here, it's hard not to ask myself 'But what if it is the Truth?' From time to time...

I couldn't find any similar posts about the Circuit Assembly. Does anyone know of any they could direct me to, or could anyone provide any information?

Our circuit had their two-day assembly last weekend. I didn't go. Clyde talked to one friend who slept through most of Saturday, but he said what he did hear was, "Give, give, give" of your time and money. Another friend went Sunday. Said he was very discouraged as they, again, were knocking education. The speaker, of course, already had a college education.

I wonder how many people who attend the assembly really want to be there. Those two friends certainly didn't want to be. Family pressure!

Since now is the time of the beginning of the 2007 new service year which begins on September 1st, your Circuit Assembly will be one of the first ones held.

The only information that I have is the theme: "Store Up......Treasures in Heaven" (Matthew 6:19,20)

It may be that you can help us out and give us some advance information for those of us who may have to attend later on.

zico, since the new circuit assembly program starts on 9/1/2006, you are probably one of the first to go of the posters on JWD. So take good notes and post them here later if you can. I have checked online and so far nothing is listed.
