i tried posting a link yesterday to this discussion on www.purelanguage.net.

anyway, its under study hall and titled "why urgent to preach the warning news.." in case you want to read it.. a jw's bible study asked if everyones survival depended solely on whether or not jehovahs witnesses could preach to them in time.

(before the big a) some of the comments made me want to gag.

I am going to a meeting tomarrow

my mother called me last night an begged me to go to the meeting tomarrow.

she has asked me to go numerous times during the last year,and i have made excuses everytime of why i can't attend.

last night she begged so i'm thinking that theres either a local needs talk that she wants me to hear or its the co visit.

Tax Question

ok i know this isn't jw related but.. i have a question about my taxes that i hope someone can answer.

my itemized deductions were less then my standard deduction, so i went with standard deduction.

my itemized deductions included interest on a mortgage loan and property taxes for 2002. can i claim these on my 2003 taxes?

i've been visiting this site for about 6 months but haven't had the courage to post anything.

well here goes...... i was born and raised a jw.

although i never really enjoyed anything about the religion, i trudged along because i was afraind of losing my family, and of course afraid of being destroyed in armageddon.
