my wife passed away 2 years ago we had been married over 30 years, i have since remarried and my new wife is younger than 3 of my children from my first marriage.

i just wondering if there are any more like me out there.

i stay in excellent shape for my age, work out almost daily eat good and have absolutely no medical problems or at least none i can do anything about, bad knees, but my vitals are excellent, and i am known as the teenage because of them when i have my yearly medical checkup.. so was wondering if there are others out there like me, and what some may think about it, just for the record i am extremely happy once again, and we have a 18 month boy who delights me, have a whole new outlook on fatherhood and child raising.

I know of a brother who re-married within 6 months of his wife's death. He married a divorced sister, who was 25 years younger than him. He had cancer and was looking for someone to take care of him, although I think he really did love her. She, however, left him alone a lot and spent every weekend in another city visiting her kids and friends. When he began to get very sick, his only daughter had to hire an ambulance to have him taken from his house to her's, so he could be looked after and not be alone.

He died a year a and half after the second wedding, and she got everything, including his pension when he died. Financially, she made out like a bandit. She even refused to give the daughter some cherished items from the first wife. It was very sad.

i'd be interested to hear from you.. i know at first there is the paranoia that the elders will find you out if you have a user id here.

i only believe this is the case if you leave your pc in plain sight unattended, give out your password, tell someone what you are 'researching'or give your real name and location in a thread or gravatar.. cut to the chase.. what brought you here?.

Rip Van Winkle, I stopped going to meetings a long time ago because of doubts I couldn't reconcile in my mind. When I finally allowed myself to research the beliefs of the witnesses, I found this site and was releaved to see I wasn't the only one and that my doubts were well founded. While reading some of the older topics here I found palmtree67's story and I have similarities. Her other comments seem honest and sincere, so I would like to ask her a few things privately. Hopefully she gets your message, thank you! I know the fear is that I am a watchtower infiltrator looking for apostates, but I'm not. I'm just another like the rest of you.

I prayed for relief from a problem and "waited on Jehovah" for many years. I finally fixed the problem myself. I did it with no support from the congregation and no help from any of the brothers. And it was bloody hard. That's how I know there was no "god" helping me - I did it all by myself.
