  stoped goin over a year ago now, been bugged ever since,iv just sent em away with im ill to tierd goin out what ever excuse i could think of to get em off my back,.

  im a big wimp so is my husband, every time the elder turns up we go yer yer come next week what ever and wel sort sumat out.

  which we dont mean its our brain washed mind talking and its very weak,.

  youve nothing to lose. i would just tell them you are ok at mo like blondie said and leave it at that. Since all the hassle we had, we have heard nothing. few wks gone by too. so just tell them your best left.

  my wife and i have not even been df'd for a week and an old friend on fb (an inactive jw who has active jw friends who used to be friends of mine) says there's a rumor going around that i'm gay.

  We are just having the usual 'apostate' name tagged on us which keeps everyone away from us like we have some sort of contagious disease... yet looks like they are all happy to try to nosey into our lives in whatever means possible!!!

  I remember hearing of an ex bro an sis in the area we live, i didnt even know them personally but it was being branded about that they were 'apostates' and that the wife had 'tempted' the husband out of it like eve had 'tempted' adam with the apple! Sadly i remember being intrigued myself by these 'raging apostates' and found myself listening in on conversations about them! omg , what a sad life i had!

  Now i am sure the same conversations are taking place about us and no one has anything better to do other that listen in and continue to spread the lies like chinese whispers!!

  Forget disfellowshipping, reinstatement is grossly unbiblical

  disfellowshipping has a "measure" of validity since in the 1st century you could be removed from the christian congregation for practicing sin.

  (but not shunned outside of worship ceremonies).. the process in which someone is accepted back into the fold in the jw policy is completely made up.

  it's funny that witnesses will poke fun at catholics for making up purgatory when they have completely pulled the reinstatement process out of their asses!.

  i changed my religion to hindu... (it was a jooookkkkeee).it should not have mattered seen as i dont have any nosey dubs left on my friends list.. i then get a phonecall tonight from a 'sister' in the congregation askin if it was true that i was a hindu?!!!

  as i had it on my fb!!!

  i asked who had told her this and she said she did not want to say, but i told her she should have got the person who had the question to ask me that rather than going to her!!!!.

  I like that too. I told this 'sister' that it was a JOKE and that i dint wanna publically broadcast my whole life! I said if it was such a major thing, surley she should be phoning all the JWS to tell them that their religious status should be JEHOVAHS WITNESS!!! But the fact is that most do not put that out of embarrassment!!!!

  lol nice_dream, i love your new avatar and name, i want to change mine too but havent figured it out yet and am worried if i do i will post a picture of myself and then be 'found out'!! lol, but i am interested to see if anyone really does use this site who i know in person, an i guess that by making myself public i would soon find out!! .. probably not a great idea really if i dont wanna be df'd!! lol

  Yeah i am guessing they are doing alot of investigating without us. My mother has pretty much told them everything they want to hear about us in an attempt to get us df'd! (crazy lady that she is)!

  I dont have caller id on my phone either so its impossible at the moment to see if they are calling. I am just waiting now for us to have them turn up at the door uninvited. Maybe they wont and will leave us alone. I have heard tho from a friend who has remained my friend from the 'troof', that there was a talk given at the circuit assembly at the wkend about 'marking' apostates in a way like the mark of the wild beast!! or something like that... in other words apostates are like the devil so dont talk to us... I am not sure if that talk was a 'needs of the circuit' talk or what, but looks like if that talk wasnt just to steer folk away from speaking with just us, there must be a few in our circuit who are taking the same stand!

  I do know that there is a circuit visit coming up for our hall in the next couple of weeks so i was wondering after being left alone by our elders for the last couple of wks, if when he visits they will resume there attempt to get us outtt!! So maybe then depending on what he says they may df us anyway! who knows...

  Part of me thinks so what if they do , at least im not looking over my shoulder every time i go and buy a birthday card for my lil girls school friend, but then the other part of me could not bare not speaking with my best 2 friends who have said they would not mark me this way and ignore me, but if it was publicaly announced we were df'd then it would make it extremely awkward, as one of my mates hubbys would be absolutely against her ever speaking to me under these circumstances. ...

  So its rubbish basically and we cant win... tho we are thinking of moving to the south of the country to start our new life with family who are not witnesses and wouldnt judge us. I really hope your lives are good and you are happy
