Serena as I stated before the topic was posted for conversation.As far as me looking for justification for why I have not chosen a certain religion.I believe I explained that also.What I wrote is what I honestly believe nothing less nothing more.

by deadlyskilz init seems to me this site is full of anti jehovah's witness members.its easy to point out weaknesses of others or the organization they represent.jehovah's witnesses do often with other religions.if you all have decided that jehovah's witnesses are bad people or that the organization is false,then which one is the true religion?which religion teaches the correct doctrines?which religion represents gods truth?this question is for anyone.i'm asking this question with sincerity.

Thank all of you for your honest opinion.My interest in posting this topic was not for my personal benefit.It was to raise a valuable question for discussion.My own personal belief is similar to alot of you.I believe religious groups of any form tend to change the importance of religion.Forming seperate rules and guidlines they themselves have altered.I read the bible and stick to rules of (nature,karma,)whatever it may be called.If you do possitive it comes back to you.I believe the bible has great principles and valuable teachings.I choose to read it at home and take what I can from it.I left the jehovahs witness religion because of individuals not the teachings.I still believe in my own opinion that theyre teachings hold some ground in society.My other reason for posting this question was if some of you believe that there is no true religion then why are you soley picking apart this religion and not others.

I'm not sure what congregation you belonged to but I personally have never felt obligated to contribute any moneys to the hall.Further more your comment about me claiming to be an expert on the subject is false so get some eyeglasses.I never claimed to be an expert on the religion.I only gave my honest opinion.As much as I do not agree with your statements I will respect them as "your honest opinion".As I have stated before it is the religous teachings you follow not the individuals.Individuals make mistakes in "every religious group".Its easy for someone to pick out people and point fingers.Try reading the actual bible and learn its principles on your own.Leave the witch trials to god.

I was a witness for 7 years.The topic is interesting.Being a witness for the 7 years I was involved in alot of the organizations activities.The organization prints millions of copies of literature for the witnesses and for individuals seeking information "free".The halls(churches) are built by volunteers within the church.The Binderies the literature is produced in is run by volunteers.Absolutely no members of the organization receive a salary.All donations are used in the building of new churches,cost of literature,church expenses i.e lights gas,and ministerial service.All moneys that are given to the organization are on a donation basis.If this is a financial witch hunt why not try the other religions that actualy PAY THE LEADERS TO TEACH GODS WORD.I always thought men of god should never pray on us as followers.Think about this the next time the collection basket gets passed to you in your church.And look at the vehicle your pastor or preacher is driving.Ask your preist what he claimed in taxes last year for his salary in the name of jesus.Please dont take my words offensively they are not meant that way.It just makes me angry when people try to blanket the real truth.
