DOs, COs, Prominent Elders being DFd recently .
by cyberguy ini just got off the phone with a friend of mine and thought i should relay something interesting.
he said at a recent (within the last month) elders school in florida, dos, cos and elders that have been associated for decades are becoming "apostates," leaving the organization and have been dfd!
something that makes me say "hummmm!".

Gred Stafford Not committed--too afraid of being DFd!
by cyberguy inive just completed the reading of greg staffords latest book, "the three dissertations on the teachings of jehovahs witnesses.
" although i appreciate his point-of-view overall, i find that his writing is often difficult to follow and at worst, not forthright on doctrinal issues.
basically, i find his writings rather anemic, hes just not forthright; he evidently doesnt want to be dfd!

DA'ing policy for blood transfusions?
by cyberguy inhas anyone gotten a scanned copy of the letter sent to co's, to da someone instead of df'ing them for a blood transfusion?
it seems to me that this policy change has been secretly kept from everyone outside of elders.
in fact, the co read it to elder bodies, but nothing in writing was actually given to local elders to file in their talmud-of-society-letters!

DA'd or DF'd -- why more being DA'd
by cyberguy infrom a number of posts on this board it appears that many are being da'd vs. df'd!
is it for legal reasons, from the watchtower's perspective?
anyway, when a person is da'd, they usually don't get an opportunity to defend their position.

Millions now living, expect to be DA'd
by cyberguy innew strategy to da/df millions who have left.
i'm wondering if there isn't a new policy of da'ing all those who no longer attend or are inactive "publishers" (find that in the bible!).
i've read a number of threads on this board whereby people are now being hunted-down, nazi-fashion, if when queried, "are you one of jw?

Printing to be moved out of Brooklyn Bethel
by cyberguy intoday, a friend of mine told me that a letter was read at his last service meeting, that brooklyn bethel was moving all printing operations to watchtower farms (if that's what they sill call it).
has anyone else heard about this?
i suspect that this move might be a way to downsize brooklyn bethel, perhaps with the idea that they can start selling much of their large, high-value estates in brooklyn, to compensate for their decreasing donations.

Reestablishing family ties with non-Witnesses
by cyberguy inas most of you folks know, non-witness family members are treated almost the same way as jw's treat disfellowshipped people.
after leaving the borg, fully or partially, has anyone had good results in reestablishing relationships with non-witnesses family relatives?
i've got over a dozen cousins that i'd like to have a relationship with once again, but i'm not sure the best way to break-the-ice.

How likely is a fatal accident in an airplane?
by cyberguy ini'm trying to reconcile the society's stats in the
awake, dec. 8th, page 8!
they claim that there's a 1 in 5,100 probability of being killed in a plane crash!

Policy change regarding Inactive and field service
by cyberguy ini've seen several posts about this matter and i it seems that i might have seen something regarding this in some watchtower publication, but where can i find the recent policy change regarding inactive ones (i.e., was it in a km?
), whereby they have to meet with the service committee if they want to resume field service again?
a friend of mine is worried that this could eventually lead to treating the "inactive" as self-disassociated!
