  i believe that the governing body, whether directly or by implication, will predict the great tribulation very soon.

  1. they have predicted for a long time now that religion would be destroyed.

  Cancer case in Missisippi

  i just picked up on cnn the case of abraham cherrix, a 16-year-old suffering from hodgkin's disease, who has refused chemotherapy and radiation treatments ordered by his oncologist in favor of an herbal remedy prescribed by a mexican clinic.

  i don't see any references on him being a jw.

  but it made me wonder.

  What is a "known child molester?"

  referring to the press release mentioned at http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/112393/1.ashx, it should be noted that wt is a corporation, with attorneys looking to cover themselves and their employer.

  it is noteworthy then to consider what wt defines as a 'known child molester' as it is one classified as such who cannot hold a responsible position in the congregation.. letter to elders march 14, 1997: "who is a known child molester?

  the january 1, 1997, watchtower article "let us abhor what is wicked" mentions on page 29 that a man "known to have been a child molester" would not qualify for privileges in the congregation.

  word has it in new york city that the cozy days at nassau colisseum are over.

  (for those of you unfamiliar with new york, the district conventions have been held at an indoor colisseum for for several years now.

  prior to that new yorkers were forced into sitting for 3+ days in a hot, humid, sometimes rainy outdoor stadium.
