JoinedWas raised a JW. About 7 years ago, I got fed up with the elitism, the intolerance, the way they treat women and a host of other reasons. My parents have possibly finally accepted the fact that I will not be coming back--they, though are heavily ensconced in the organization--after all the kids left, my dad finally got to become an elder and my mother is a regular pioneer. I love my parents, but hate their religion and if it would not shred any remaining good feelings they have for me, I would do everything I could to get them to see the light about this religion.
