I was featured on a local news site today.....
by dubstepped init's always cool to see honest accounts of jehovah's witnesses in the news.
i got the opportunity to be interviewed locally and took it.
i put myself out there and here's part one.

you'll see a few things we had in common with pentecostals, including shunning in this one particular church, and more important you'll get inspired to live your moments well.

by dubstepped inchloe’s family was in the circuit work, but her family also had a lot of pressure in the house, pressure that she’ll describe in a way that will put you right there, pressure that perhaps you felt in your home if you too had a particularly volatile parent.
chloe, like so many, lived a double life and ended up getting married young to another jw.
today she shares custody of her daughter with that jw and at my request she provides some really amazing advice for others in that situation.

I got to give a speech at the University of Louisville today about JWs and Propaganda
by dubstepped intoday my wife and i went to college.
although not allowed to go to college as jws we got to lead a class today and it was really special to be able to do that.
the class was an honors class on social media and psychology and i created a presentation around the propaganda and manipulation used against us as jws.

her mother was a faithful jw, her father violently opposed.

Research Help Needed for University Presentation

the class is about social media and psychology.
of course they talk about fake news and propaganda.

My interview with a guy from Is, Was and Will Be
by dubstepped ineven though it isn't an ex-jw this time, i thought i'd share.
i'll have another ex-jw (actually one from the infamous fremont congregation) in a couple weeks.
this guy has some cptsd that he's being treated for and the interview isn't as smooth as some but we did our best.

they stay in physically to keep spouses, family, friends, the only social structure that they’ve ever been allowed to have.
