    Hi All,

This was in the San Francisco Chronicle today by columnist Leah Garchik. I just had to chuckle.

    ELTON RECOLLECTS:
... What would it have been like if John had moved to the United States 30 years ago? asks the interviewer. "I'd be dead by now," says John. "Or a fruitcake like Michael Jackson or Prince. At least in Britain we don't have much tolerance for showbiz bull--."

First, I thought it was really interesting that Elton linked both Michael Jackson and Prince as "fruitcakes", seeing that they both have been screwed up by their association with the JWs.

Second, I thought it equally humorous that Elton would accuse them of being fruitcakes. After all, isn't that something like a Hostess Twinkee accusing a Hostess Ding-Dong of being junk food?

In England, 'fruitcakes' is a reference to people who are sanity challenged! ;-)

Correct Rex - "Nutty as a fruitcake" is the expression.

Q: How do you know a Dub loyal to "Jehovah's Organisation" is lying?
    A: Their lips are moving.
