I noticed that too. I think it is there to emphasize that the book is meant only for baptized JWs and not the general population. A person who is studying cannot have a copy.

It imeddiately leaps out the fact that there's more emphasis on the WT Leadership. The new chapters clearly reveal the trend:

Interestingly, the last chapter changes the focus completely, from "Enduring With Life in View" in the old om book to 'Closeness with the Organization' in the new. The light is no doubt shining brighter and brighter...

They unwittingly put off their mask with a true theological Freudian slip. The first three chapters perfectly correlate with the Three Persons of the Christian Trinity. The FDS takes the place that would naturally belong to the Holy Spirit... Are they bordering on blasphemy or what?
