I would like to know.. where is the edit button? It never shows up on my new topic posting.
And what program do you use to move topics around?

The Edit button / link should appear under the post you are the author of and also under the title of the topic you are the author of, in both cases for upto 30 minutes after they are posted.
The option to move topics is admin only right now. My long term goal is for the software to automatically decide the correct place to put topics and to use tags more for organizing things rather than a rigid and fixed hierarchy.
The client-side code is written in JavaScript / Angular.JS. The server-side code is currently in Python but pieces will be moving to Go for better performance and lower resource usage.
