    When the JWs first came to my hometown in Carencro, La. (early 1940s) this was the method of preaching used. The townfolk were upset by the anti-Catholic and anti-American sentiments of the Judge. For their efforts they were all thrown in the local jail. They left graffiti on the walls allegeding persecution for Jehovah's sake. It never occurred to them that it was really Rutherford's diatribes that got them in trouble.
