Great article we can all relate to. The most effective way to sway a firmly held belief may be to help the person feel good about themselves first.

jgnat, that article has a lot to digest, but I'm loving it!

Of course, whenever I read things like this I always think, "How can I use this to reach my kids and rescue them from this religion?"

It's a work in progress, but I need all the ammunition I can get my hands on.

I agree. We know more about all the techniques that don't work. I read something like this and it gives me ideas....
