I'm feeling peckish today so I thought I'd start a thread. I passed a church today that had one of those signs out front where they post a new message every week or so. The message today was:
Christ has risen.
I was a little surprised. I figured if that were the case it would be front page news, maybe the web would even carry the headline. I was also a little confused as to where Christ would 'rise' from. Shouldn't he 'descend' if he's returning to Earth?
It just struck me as a very misleading message.
