It was obvious he was a believer, he was talking to Jesus the

first 350 yards. LOL The last few yards he thank the discovery

    channel and others.

He reminded of a movie, The End starting Burt Reynolds. Burt had made

several attempts to commit suicide, one scene Burt swim to a distant

in the ocean where he figured he wouldn,t be able to make it back

to land,( another attempt at suicide). Well he changed his mind and

wonted to live so as he started back to land and he prayed, Lord get me back

and I will give 75% of my money. As he got closer to land, Lord I will give you

50% closer 25%. When he had reach land, Lord If you are not satisfied

with (small amount) then too bad.

But I was thinking, do you think God was calming the wind, steadying the

wire, taking time out of his busy schedule to help this guy cross the GC???

    If so what purpose?

I'm glad he made it. The way i see it, whatever helps him be all he can be. In that situation, he needs something for his mind to chew on, like a dog needs a bone. Sounds like he didn't have control of his mind, so he needed to keep it occupied w positives.

Sometimes, a breeze is just a breeze.

It was all a show, the prayers were part of the performance. Still it was a bloody amazing achievement!

the guy crossing the canyon didnt test god, he tested himself. if he slipped it was because he made a mistake, God has nothing to do with it.
