it's the faithful and discreet slave that directs the governing body when they come together to change or add a new doctrine??? How did they come up with this one when it's always been the holy spirit doing the directing or is every word in the bible going to have a new job description meaning????????????????

The WTS is claimed to be a " Spirit directed Organization "
The spiriual food is claimed to be from " Jehovah not from men "
The Holy spirit is Jehovah's active force that causes witnesses to spead the good news
The problem is. The WTS have not come up wit a word that would best fit what the holy spirit does
" Inspire " doesn't seem to fit the holy spirit in WT world

The gb does a high-wire act with the term "holy spirit." They claim to be "guided" by it, but they also claim they are not "prophets," which would imply direct communication with the holy spirit.
By claiming guidance rather than direct inspiration, they have a tiny bit of wiggle room when their predictions fail. They're not prophets, so their "interpretation" can be flawed, thus allowing "new light" to repair their disaster du jour.
So what good is the holy spirit? For the WTS, it's only as good as they need it to be.

As far as I can understand the scriptures to say........>

the spirit (not church/GB)!! ...therefore
no need for any preachers, churches or governing bodies!
