    Evolution and cruelties of life (God's prerogative wasn't made very clear)
    don't make a case for or against atheism, just against some conservative inter-
    pretations of belief. Faith understood as such can keep track of the known
    things God's possible beyond without arrogance or undue claims of proof, and
    keep up to speed about the known things as they increase. Much of the speech
    can describe such adjustment believers an non-believers may make, not require
    the atheist choice (assuming so would be arrogant, ironically).

    Likewise the outdated conservative creation needs a creator stuff: I agree
    it's not effective, but I'd recommend Mortimer Adler's "How to Think About God,"
    which this speech seems unfamiliar with, and that doesn't require atheism,
    either.

    I liked Hitchens sometimes, although his Iraq War support wasn't fun, and he
    sure proslytized a lot for an atheist.
