You know, Teary already had an article written discussing the "mentally diseased" nonsense, but thanks to this thread he also went and wrote an article dealing with the OP's quotes from the Nov. 15, 2011 WT Study Edition.

And here is the article discussing the "mentally diseased" issue:

Heck, Teary might even dedicate a post to Punk's first quote about Memorial partakers if there is a demand =P

You know, Sapphy really dislikes it when a poster refers to him/herself in the third person. She finds it especially annoying when said poster is linking to their own website.

Sapphy hopes Teary will understand that calling hate speech "hate speech" is not hate speech.

The poster called James thought that the poster called Teary had left the discussion board called JWN never to return...

"You know, Sapphy really dislikes it when a poster refers to him/herself in the third person."

Teary always finds that annoying too. People that speak in the third person just seem totally whacko if you ask Teary.

"She finds it especially annoying when said poster is linking to their own website."

What Teary links to is directly related to the original post of this thread. It also saves space on the thread by allowing Teary to post his thousands of words there instead of here.

"Sapphy hopes Teary will understand that calling hate speech "hate speech" is not hate speech."

Of course Teary understands that, it is just that he hasn't seen any examples of "hate speech" from the Witnesses yet. But if you consider the Bible and Paul calling apostates "mentally diseased" hate speech, then that is your choice.

"The poster called James thought that the poster called Teary had left the discussion board called JWN never to return..."

Tearys are like cats -- they have multiple lives. So when one dies or goes away, another can just take his place.

The poster called James warns the poster called Teary that this is a pagan legend and could technically cause him to be disfellowshipped if discovered, especially if discovered to be posted on an apostate website.

Hence the Melbourne Herald Sun's "mentally diseased" article pointing out that it appeared in a "members-only version of The Watchtower."

Surely you do have the critical thinking skills to realize that a statement isn't true just because it appears in a Newspaper right? Honestly you are even worse than the Witnesses that you accuse of lacking critical thinking ability.

So how exactly can a study article be "members-only" when any random person can just walk in off the street on Sunday and get a free copy of the article for the meeting? It is not "members-only" at all, it is "meeting only." You can go through the study articles all you want (and heck even comment on it), you just have to come to the actual place where it is being studied and discussed.

"Teary that this is a pagan legend and could technically cause him to be disfellowshipped if discovered"

Quite a few elders have known that Teary uses the pen name "Oberon." But they really couldn't have cared less about it, because Teary told them the ACTUAL origin of it (which is not pagan at all).

The poster named Teary avoids (or misses) the point - the pagan legend is the notion that cats have nine lives.

BTW, the poster named Teary should not be counting time for posting pagan ideas about cat reincarnations.

Teary thinks that you are too anal retentive about small things that are alreadly well ingrained in our common language, idioms and culture. Why don't you complain abou him using a Gregorian Calander too?

Teary - please switch the stupid mode off. You are coming across as an idiot, I am sure you are not.
