kinda funny as i was watching that...was thinking to myself....whenever i'd look at these old relics in the past, and see all this animal veneration, i'd always think to myself 'what is that? what is up with that'...only now it finally dawned on me seems so stupid....the animals possess qualities that we dont...hence taking on their qualities makes us into gods of sorts. even superficially appearing stupid, ugly animals reptiles etc. for example there is a turtle that lives for what 800 years? obviously if we could possess that longevity that is god-like. birds have flight, eagles super vision etc etc etc. seems so dumb and obvious, but i guess i never sat there and thought about it much.

Awen, thanks for posting these. I found them very interesting. I haven't looked into this very much, so I was surprised by some of the info. I especially enjoyed the first video. Your links showed up on my iPod touch, but not on the computer. So I thought I'd try re-posting them for you.

Band on the Run
I received medical service at Bellevue. Yikes! The truth is that it is not glamorous. It resembles a subway station. B/c of their partnership with NYU and doctors wanting to see full blown illness not mediated my middle class ministrations, Bellevue provides some of the best care in the world. It is a world leader in many fields.
I was terrified.
