Well, a french conspiracionist has found a really astouning picture. See by yourself:

Have you seen that in Pittsburgh (where Russell has lived) in 1906 (when Russell was alive), a Knigtht Templar commandery has the same "symbol" that Russell have in his cemetery ? We have the point: Russell was a freemason

Well, what the name of the commandery ? Dusquesnes Commandery. So this is the name of a fort in Pittsburgh.

You want some picture of it:

    And this one:

You can found here the description of this plate from the Dusquesne Commandery of Knight Templar. It represent the Fort Pitt Block House, a part of Fort Dusquesne. You have now all in hands to see the bug. Here we go:

Ok, now you have understand the "pyramid" is in fact the roof of a part of Fort Dusquesnes. And if you read the Convention Report of 1919, you can read that the pyramid in the cemetery is in the center of the plot of the Bethel, so it represent the center of this plot, not a masonic, occult symbol. It seems not even have connection with the Gizah's pyramid from what Russell made some calculation.

Well, two pyramid (one is definitely a roof and not a pyramid), two different meaning, no conspiracy theory.

Also that "pyramid" looks like it has four sides.

Ah you're right, the Gizeh pyramids are not triangular pyramids.....

A "pyramid", triangles, the roof of Fort Duquesnes, all that can't have happened by mere chance, Russellites were up to something, and we've not grasped the full and true meaning of those eery symbols yet. So, beware, beware, we've been warned.

People have been borrowing art and architecture from each other for millenia. We shouldn't read more into these similarities than was intended by their artists and we certainly shouldn't go making accusations on the basis of such whimsical evidence.

Solid evidence for anybody's membership of any group would be verifiable confirmation from the administration of the group. That is something that is noticeably lacking for Russell and the Masons.
