Zambian presidential candidate Levy Mwanawasa's wife has been disfellowshipped as a Jehovah's Witness because of her involvement in active politics. The presidential candidate himself was a not baptized Witness.

If you do, you will be punished. Furthermore, JWs are prohibited from
expressing opinions in favor of such activity - it is also
forbidden.
