I was talking to my 15y old daughter today about the divorce of her mum and me, and apologising for the trouble that may ensue, when she says without even looking up from her homework "Dad we have not known for 5 years that you and mum had problems. Us kids are far smarter than you think we are and we miss alot less than you think"
I was speechless - for once. There was me worrying that she did know much and she already understood more than me and her mum!

Kids they sound so grown up when they talk like that, I'm sure your kids will be able
to handle the adjustments needed as they come up. Great kids I'd say!
