I watched the show, although more for Steve Martin than for Prince. Still, The Purple One did look and sound good. I doubt that the three women on the stage were from his congregation. Fred Armisen did his parody "The Prince Show" with Maya Rudolph as Beyonce Knowles which was quite good as well. I kept expecting the "real" Prince to suddenly show up, but it didn't happen. All in all, it was a funny show overall, great to see Steve host again after so long, and a musical guest who actually DOES have talent.
