I read the FAQs. Seems this website is a shill for the "brothers" and "friends" and (barf) "needgreaters" who are already there and have set up businesses to serve new JWs. Also, there's a lot of emphasis (unintended, I'm sure) on the material aspect of life there. How little it costs to live, how it's advisable to have a housekeeper, how there's good transportation but you really ought to have a vehicle to be able to do more...Also I just loved the answer to the question about how the kids adapt to moving to a foreign country and learning a new language. They describe a lovely picture of families pioneering together and playing canasta together in the evenings. Yeah, right, that would make most US JW kids really happy.

I didn't read everything. Do they mention the terrible health care systems and deadly diseases in such foreign countries?

I think one of the really uptight self righteous blowhards from my old hall did this, his name was M. Muirhead. Does anyone recognize that name and have any info? Pm me if you do! I know he went to bethel and was down in honduras (?) but I'm really curious what happened to him!

Wow. That really is a pathetic thing. Now they come up with a new catch phrase/word to boot. Like someone said before me about the poor and uneducated. What they are doing really amounts to mental extortion of people that know no better..
