I just feel sick to my stomach. A close friend of mine (no longer in the Borg) just called me bawling her eyes out, because she just found out through her brother (also no longer in the Borg) that her nephews have been sexually molested by his ex-wife's half-brother, "Bert" for the last 4 years. If that's not bad enough, his stinking, lousy whore of an ex, KNEW this was going on, and did absolutely NOTHING. Her and her b#tch of a mother (who is a pedophile herself) kept it all secret.

I went over to my friends house and she filled in all the details and I said "Gee, I wonder where this kid learned this from eh?" His mother is a filthy whore to the 10th degree. She's had 5 kids all from different men, she sexually abused at least 3 of them when they were kids and I can guarantee you she did it to "Bert" too. Sorry, but any normal 15 year old boy is interested in GIRLS, not in 5 year old boys.

And guess what? They're all good little Christians that go to the Hall on a regular basis. It absolutely makes me sick to even think about it. Even though the elders in her Hall might not have known about it, I sincerely doubt that it would make any difference even if they did, due to their pathetic track record of coddling pedophiles.

So this just goes to show, that not all pedophiles are male........there's also some pretty sick, twisted females out there too.

my old cong had (to my knowledge) three peadophiles. O ne was a woman and served time for it, she would still be inside had her accuser (her daughter) not died suddenly!

This is 100 percent true Mary. Women are just as much pedophiles as men are. It's just not as commonly talked about as if it were men. But my husband being from Greece has told me that in many European Countries the mother breaks her sons in sexually. I was flabbergassed. Of course be in a sheltered existance as a JW, one doesn't know that this goes on in the world, at least not me. Or maybe I was just gualliable.

But it sickens me beyond words This world practices depraved things.

Yes, I've heard this too. I knew one guy years ago from Hungary, and his first sexual experience was with his aunt........

After what I heard today, I really wonder why God allows this sort of thing to happen....... somehow, I don't think it's to help "vindicate His name", but I really, truly cannot understand why anyone, whether it be human or spirit, could stand by while innocent children suffer like this.

Well, if the kid is 15 it's not truly pedophilia, though it is sexual abuse. And yes, women are abusers too. One of my wife's molestors was a female.

Yes it is. My wife was in a congregation where the perpetrator was a teenager (14 or 15) and was finally convicted and sent to juvenile detention after the 4th child (a little 4 year girl) had the courage to report him to the police. Of course the elders did nothing to him. A talk was given on the subject of forgiveness and the family was ostracized until they finally left. When he was released he returned and was treated as if nothing happened. He even attended a skating party for children. My children were at that skating party. Thank God nothing happened, but it could have.

I'm sorry Mary. I've often wondered how a loving God could allow this to happen to an innocent like a child. No child deserves to experience this. I wish I had some answers, but I don't. Sometimes life really sucks.
