Ryan Sutter was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, baptized at age 15. Over a decade later, his "entire belief system fell apart, largely due to talkorigins.org". Sutter wrote to TalkOrigins, a famous post of the month entitled "You’ve changed my life. Thanks, I think." He also wrote a java program that shows the difficult position creationists are in trying to maintain such literal beliefs such as the Biblical Flood.
We discuss the Jehovah’s Witness belief, his upbringing in The Witnesses and later how talkorigins helped change his mind.
